[04-28-2025] Two People Killed in Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash on East 6th Street in ClaremontTwo people were killed following a single-vehicle crash on East 6th Street in Claremont early Monday morning, April 28, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collision occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. Responding officers found a vehicle that had struck a tree and caught fire.

The Claremont Police Department confirmed that both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. They have not yet been identified.

The vehicle involved appeared to be a Tesla. A witness reported seeing the car traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
