[04-28-2024] Five People Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Pearlblossom Highway Near LittlerockFive people were killed following a two-vehicle collision on a highway near Littlerock, Los Angeles County, on Sunday night, April 28, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened at about 8:12 p.m. on the eastbound Pearlblossom (138) Highway at 106th Street East.

Reports indicated that the crash involved a blue/gray Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris. It is said that some of the occupants of both cars were trapped inside their respective vehicles after the accident.

The drivers of the Mitsubishi and Toyota both died, while three others were killed in one of the two cars. They were all pronounced dead at the scene, said the CHP. Further details regarding the people who have died were not immediately available.

Both sides of 106 Street East were closed off for several hours as the authorities investigated.
