Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Thomas Mountain, just north of Anza, Riverside County, on Sunday afternoon, April 27, 2025.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash was reported around 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 74 and Morris Ranch Road.

One of the individuals required extrication and was transported by helicopter to a hospital with moderate injuries. The second person was taken by ground ambulance with minor to moderate injuries.

Both individuals were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles. No identifying information about them was available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
