[04-26-2024] Rider Critically Injured Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision in PerrisA rider was critically injured following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Perris on Friday afternoon, April 26, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 5:15 p.m. on the northbound side of I-215, north of Redlands Avenue. 

Authorities stated that the rider, whose identity was not disclosed, collided with a sedan in the middle lane. The victim was found unconscious with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Riverside University Medical Center for emergency surgery. 

Police said the driver of the vehicle was transported to the same hospital with minor injuries. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Investigations are ongoing.
