According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal crash happened at around 2:05 p.m. on the 6900 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.

LAPD stated that the suspect vehicle struck two pedestrians along the roadway before fleeing the scene. One of the victims reportedly died at the scene, while the other was transported to a local hospital. The surviving victim’s current condition and extent of injuries were not available at this time.

There is still no official description of the suspect vehicle. However, authorities believe that it was a truck.
