A driver was injured following a two-vehicle crash that blocked the E 3rd Avenue off-ramp from Highway 101 in East San Mateo on Friday afternoon, April 25, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 3:01 p.m. and involved a silver Honda Civic and another sedan.
The Honda Civic was left blocking the off-ramp near the northbound U.S. Highway 101 Frontage Road exit.
San Mateo Firefighters and CHP officers responded to the scene. CHP requested a tow truck and moved the silver Honda to clear the roadway.
The driver of the Honda reportedly suffered hand and chest injuries. It is unclear whether they were transported to the hospital.
The cause of the collision remains unknown. The incident is under investigation.
