[04-24-2024] Male Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Lemon Grovemale pedestrian was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lemon Grove early Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on College Avenue, near State Route 94.

Reports indicate that a white pickup truck fled the scene after hitting a man on the northbound side of College Ave.

First responders administered life-saving measures, but the victim was declared dead on site. His identity remains undisclosed, pending the notification of the family.

The authorities have not released any information about the hit-and-run driver.
