[04-22-2025] Teen Seriously Injured After E-Bike Crashes Into SUV on Santa Rita Road in PleasantonOne teen was seriously injured after crashing an electric dirt bike into an SUV in Pleasanton on Tuesday night, April 22, 2025.

According to police, the incident occurred when two teens riding a Talaria Sting e-bike collided with an SUV exiting a parking lot. 

The teens were traveling at approximately 30 mph on the east sidewalk of Santa Rita Road at the time of the crash.

One of the teens suffered a severe leg laceration, prompting officers to apply a tourniquet at the scene. He was transported to a hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding.

The crash remains under investigation.
