A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:23 p.m. at the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Canoas Garden Avenue.

Authorities reported that the pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where they later died. The identity of the victim has not been released.
