Two people were injured when their Corvette, traveling over 100 mph, crashed into the Maserati of Puente Hills dealership in Industry, Los Angeles County, early Wednesday morning, April 15, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 1:45 a.m. on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway near the Azusa Avenue exit.
The Corvette lost control after swerving to avoid slower-moving vehicles and collided with a white BMW sedan. The Corvette then careened across lanes, struck a chain link fence, overturned multiple times, and crashed into the dealership building.
Both the driver, Damian C. of Chatsworth, and the passenger were treated at the scene for minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.
The crash caused extensive damage to the dealership, including broken windows, a cracked light pole, and a damaged perimeter fence.
The CHP is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
