A man sustained injuries in a suspected hit-and-run incident possibly near the Northgate Market on South Mission Road in San Diego County on Monday afternoon, April 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 2:17 p.m. when the victim’s wife contacted authorities, stating that her husband had been struck—possibly while in the parking lot of the Northgate Market at 1346 South Mission Road. It was unclear whether the man had been on foot or in a vehicle at the time of the collision.
Following the incident, the man returned to his residence on the 1000 block of Old Stage Road, where medical aid was requested. Emergency personnel responded and transported the man for medical treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
The reporting party stated she had a photo of the suspected vehicle, which may assist with the ongoing investigation. CHP officers arrived at the home by 3:06 p.m. and are continuing to investigate the incident.
