Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a vehicle fire on Katella Avenue in Anaheim early Monday morning, April 13, 2026.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the crash was reported at around 12:35 a.m. near the Orange (57) Freeway, not far from Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.
Investigators report that a Jeep Liberty crashed into a tree and quickly became engulfed in flames. Both occupants, identified as two men, were found inside the burning vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was registered out of Orange, California. Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Anaheim police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
