A 34-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles on Saturday night, April 11, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. near Manchester Avenue and Budlong Avenue.
Investigators report that the woman was walking northbound across Manchester Avenue in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a black sedan. The driver fled the scene without stopping to assist.
The victim has not yet been publicly identified. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect and have offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the driver through the Los Angeles Administrative Code’s Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund.
