[04-11-2025] Three Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree and Embankment on Highway 166 Near Santa MariaThree people were injured after a car struck a tree and crashed into an embankment off the side of Highway 166 near Santa Maria on Friday evening, April 11, 2025.

According to CAL Fire SLO, the crash occurred at approximately 5:41 p.m. All three individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the patients to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
