A pedestrian was severely injured after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose early Thursday morning, April 11, 2024.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:22 a.m. between Story Road and Roberts Avenue.

Reports indicate that an unspecified vehicle struck a pedestrian, causing life-threatening injuries.

The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. It is unknown if the driver remained or fled the scene.
