[04-10-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Man Killed After Being Struck By Two Hit-and-Run Drivers in Winnetka

A man was killed after being struck by two hit-and-run drivers in the Winnetka area of the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, on Friday night, April 10, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Sherman Way. 

Investigators report that a black Chevrolet Camaro traveling southbound on Winnetka Avenue struck the man as he was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk. While the man was lying in the roadway, he was struck again by a white Ford truck. Both drivers fled the scene.

Paramedics transported the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Detectives recovered vehicle parts at the scene that may assist in identifying the suspect vehicles.

The investigation remains ongoing.
