Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision in East Sonora, Tuolumne County, on Tuesday afternoon, April 9, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. at the Tuolumne Road and Hess Avenue intersection.
Two sedans were involved in the crash, which resulted in minor injuries. It is still unclear how many occupants each vehicle had when the incident occurred. The extent of the injuries sustained is also undisclosed at this time.
CHP said that the wreckage blocked the roadway, forcing other motorists to take alternative routes.
