[04-05-2024] Monterey County, CA – One Person Killed After Being Run Over by Truck in Salinas

One person was killed after being run over by a truck in Salinas on Friday afternoon, April 5, 2024.

According to the Salinas Police Department, the fatal incident occurred at about 4:04 p.m. at B C Systems, located at 1341 Merrill Street.

Reports indicate that a man was declared dead at the scene after being hit by a semi-truck that was pulling out.

The identity of the victim is still unavailable, but he was not an employee of B C System. The truck driver remained on site and showed no signs of impairment.
