[04-04-2024] Sacramento County, CA – Possible Injury Reported Following Big Rig Collision Along I-5 Near Walnut Grove

A possible injury was reported following a big rig collision near Walnut Grove, Sacramento County, on Thursday morning, April 4, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck accident happened along northbound Interstate 5 near the Twin Cities Road offramp.

CHP confirmed that the crash involved two big rigs. The total number of people involved was not disclosed, but officers said there was a possible minor injury report. 

A nearby bridge appeared to have sustained structural damage as well.

Authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the factors leading to the incident.
