A man was killed, and a woman was injured in a solo-vehicle crash in Garden Grove on Friday night, April 3, 2026.
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, officers responded at about 10:05 p.m. to reports of a silver Toyota Corolla traveling recklessly southbound on Euclid Street from Katella Avenue.
Several minutes later, police received additional reports of a collision involving the Corolla in the 12700 block of Euclid Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been ejected from the vehicle. Authorities said officers began life-saving measures on both victims before Orange County Fire Authority personnel arrived and transported them to UCI Medical Center. Police said the man was later pronounced dead. The woman’s condition was not released.
The investigation has been taken over by the department’s Neighborhood Traffic Unit. The cause remains under investigation.
