According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at around 5:45 p.m. to the 28000 block of Rancho California Road. Paramedics evaluated all occupants of both vehicles at the scene.

Reports indicate that Spelling was driving at the time of the crash and that she, four of her children, and three other children in her vehicle were taken to a hospital. They were treated for injuries, including bruises, cuts, contusions, and concussions, before being released.

No arrests were made. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
