A woman was hospitalized after the Honda Civic she was driving collided with a FedEx truck and crashed into a residential garage in Victorville on Wednesday afternoon, April 1, 2026.
The incident was reported at around 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of Bonanza Road and Borego Road.
According to preliminary information from the Victorville Police Department, the Honda was traveling eastbound on Bonanza Road and failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with the northbound FedEx truck on Borego Road.
The impact caused the Honda to crash into a residential garage at the northwest corner of the intersection, resulting in visible structural damage. The FedEx truck came to a stop in a dirt lot across the intersection with visible damage to the driver’s side front end. The male driver of the FedEx truck was not injured.
A witness at the scene reported that the woman driving the Honda was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. The witness also noted that a young child in the Honda was uninjured.
Victorville City Code Enforcement was requested to assess the damage to the residence struck during the crash. The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
