According to the California Highway Patrol, emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 9:20 p.m. CHP traffic logs indicated that multiple vehicles blocked northbound lanes as of 9:29 p.m., causing significant slowdowns. A Caltrans camera near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard showed congestion across all lanes.

The authorities have since reopened the highway, but they have not confirmed whether any injuries occurred.

Officers advised drivers to expect delays and take alternate routes. They are continuing the investigation into the crash.
