According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash happened around 10:48 a.m. at Highway 86S and Avenue 81. 

Authorities stated that the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle. One person suffered severe injuries, while the second victim sustained minor injuries. Both of them were transported to the hospital. 

It is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
