[03-31-2024] Female Driver Killed After Two-Vehicle Rear-End Crash in GlendoraA female driver was killed after a two-vehicle rear-end crash in Glendora on Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2024.

According to the Glendora Police Department, the fatal collision happened at about 3:00 p.m. on the Foothill Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue intersection.

GPD said that the woman was driving alone in a sedan when another vehicle suddenly rear-ended her car, causing it to swerve and crash into a nearby tree.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured. The identities of the people involved were not immediately disclosed.

Authorities closed off the intersection for four hours as a precaution while they investigated.

The cause of the accident is still unknown. Additional details were not available at this time.
