According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at around 5:43 p.m. at 9200 N. Reseda Blvd., near Dearborn Street.

The collision involved three vehicles, and paramedics treated a total of eight individuals at the scene before transporting them to hospitals.

Two adults and three children were believed to be in serious condition, while three adults were in fair condition. The ages and genders of the victims were not immediately available.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
