One person sustained minor injuries after a three-vehicle crash on the 91 Freeway in Riverside on Friday evening, March 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 3:44 p.m. on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Tyler Street.
Authorities stated that a BMW sedan, a sports sedan, and a Ford pickup truck collided in the middle of the freeway, though the specific circumstances of the crash remain unclear. The collision obstructed two of the three lanes, causing the pickup truck to lose one of its wheels.
Riverside Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and found one person with minor injuries. The individual did not require hospitalization.
CHP successfully moved the damaged vehicles to the right shoulder shortly after 4:00 p.m., clearing the way for rush-hour traffic.
