A man was killed following a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision along Highway 101 in San Jose on early Thursday morning, March 28, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 south of Berryessa Road.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian was walking in the slow lane when a 2006 Chrysler struck him. The 62-year-old Chrysler driver, identified as Maria O., pulled over and called the police after the collision.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. Anyone with information about the accident is urged to contact the authorities.
