One person sustained major injuries in an off-road vehicle crash in the Glamis area of Imperial County on Thursday evening, March 27, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported just before 7:00 p.m. The off-road vehicle had two occupants at the time of the incident.
The driver was transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle before authorities arrived. The passenger, who suffered major injuries, was airlifted to an out-of-county hospital for further treatment.
Officers are still investigating the circumstances of the crash and were last reported interviewing witnesses at the Glamis Store.
