A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Main Street at Ramos Ranch Road in Oakley on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025.
According to the Oakley Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 9:55 a.m. when a vehicle traveling north on Main Street struck a woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision happened just feet from the victim’s home, and her family was present at the time of the incident.
The driver, a 77-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital with injuries that have not been disclosed. Police reported that the man initially drove home but later voluntarily returned to the scene.
