Three people were injured, including children, after a single-vehicle crash in Victorville on Wednesday afternoon, March 27, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 4:00 p.m. along southbound Interstate 15 near Stoddard Wells Road.
CHP stated that a silver Dodge Ram with an RV camper attached veered off the road for some reason and continued barreling down into the right-side desert area of I-15. The RV became detached from the pickup truck during the crash and was effectively destroyed in the desert.
Three people were injured following the crash: one adult male and two children. Responders then confirmed that two of them suffered critical injuries and needed to be airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
There is no word yet about the condition of the remaining person.
CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash. No further information was immediately available.
