[03-26-2025] Two Women Critically Injured After Vehicle Collision In Cory Neighborhood In San JoseTwo pedestrians sustained severe injuries after a vehicle collision in Cory Neighborhood, San Jose, on Wednesday morning, March 26, 2025.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the collision occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. in the area of N Monroe Street and Cherrystone Drive.

The two female pedestrians were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

As of 12:30 p.m., N. Monroe Street remains closed to all traffic between Sunny Vista Drive and Peachtree Lane, the SJPD reported. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
