[03-25-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Killed By Vehicle on Bradshaw Rd.webpA man in his 40s was struck and killed on Bradshaw Road in Sacramento County on Wednesday night, March 25, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported just before 10 p.m. near Countryroads Drive, along the dividing line between unincorporated Rosemont and the city of Rancho Cordova.

Responding officers and Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews found the man lying in the roadway after he had been hit by a vehicle. Bystanders attempted to resuscitate the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities reported that drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the crash.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
