A man died after sustaining major injuries in a head-on crash involving two vehicles on Main Street near Highway 36 in Red Bluff on Tuesday morning, March 25, 2025.
According to the Red Bluff Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:48 a.m. following reports of a two-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, they located a blue Saturn and a red Chevrolet SUV involved in a head-on crash.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the Saturn had crossed into the southbound lane of Main Street, resulting in the collision.
Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The driver of the Saturn later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing.
