According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Maroa Avenue.

The bicyclist was reportedly struck by a vehicle that had a green light at the time of the collision.

The driver remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation.

Impairment by drugs or alcohol is not believed to have been a factor, according to police.

The injured bicyclist was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. The individual’s current condition has not been released.
