[03-24-2026] San Diego County, CA – Juvenile Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision While Riding E-Motorcycle in Santee.webpA juvenile was injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding an e-motorcycle in Santee, San Diego County, on Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at around 1:50 p.m. near Mission Gorge Road.

The investigation revealed that the juvenile was in the roadway, creating a traffic hazard, when they were hit by the vehicle.

The collision caused the rider to lose control and fall from the e-motorcycle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived.

The juvenile was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

While deputies were at the scene, several other juvenile riders operating e-motorcycles fled the area, reportedly riding over center medians and into oncoming traffic.
