Five people were injured after a vehicle overturned on Chestnut Street near Hyde Street in San Francisco shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the vehicle came to rest on its roof, trapping one person inside who required extrication by emergency crews.
Three individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, while two others were evaluated at the scene and declined medical transport. Police said the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The crash also damaged a nearby power pole. Pacific Gas and Electric was called to the scene to assess the damage.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the rollover collision.
