A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Almaden Expressway in San Jose on Saturday night, March 22, 2025.
According to the San Jose Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:15 p.m. to the southbound lanes of Almaden Expressway near Ironwood Drive following reports of a pedestrian-involved crash.
Medical personnel responded to the scene but were unable to revive the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a red 2009 Kia sedan, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities do not believe intoxication was a factor in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
