A 52-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision involving an electric scooter in San Francisco on Monday evening, March 16, 2026.

According to San Francisco police, the incident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the area of Market and Fourth streets.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, though an update on her condition was not immediately available.

The electric scooter rider fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities have not released any description of the rider.
