[03-15-2026] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Jurupa Valley

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Jurupa Valley early Sunday morning, March 15, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported just after 2:20 a.m. in the area of Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street.

Deputies responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the roadway with major injuries. The victim was pronounced dead. 

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin. Investigators said the cause of the crash is still being examined, and it remains unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors. 

The Jurupa Valley Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team is handling the investigation.
