[03-15-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Woman Critically Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on 110 Freeway

One person was killed, and a woman was critically injured in a three-vehicle crash on the northbound 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning, March 15, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at about 1:50 a.m. at the Third Street on-ramp.

Authorities reported that one of the vehicles overturned and caught fire during the crash. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene, where one person was pronounced dead. 

A woman involved in the collision was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Officials said the gender of the deceased person has not yet been confirmed. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
