[03-11-2026] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Injured in Six-Vehicle Crash on Greenback Lane in Orangevale.webpA six-vehicle crash in Orangevale, Sacramento County, left one person with minor injuries on Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Greenback Lane near Kenneth Avenue and involved six vehicles.

Despite the number of vehicles involved, CHP described the outcome as “miraculous,” with only one person sustaining minor injuries.

Investigators determined that driving under the influence is not suspected, and the preliminary cause of the crash appears to be unsafe speed. Traffic in the area was slow-moving for a period as crews worked to clear the scene.

CHP officials are urging drivers to exercise caution, avoid distractions, wear seat belts, use turn signals, check blind spots, and allow extra time and space when approaching slowing or stopped traffic.

The crash remains under investigation.
