[03-11-2026] Riverside County, CA – 61-Year-Old Woman Killed in Rollover Crash on I-10 Near Desert Center.webpA 61-year-old woman was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 east of Desert Center in Riverside County on Wednesday night, March 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11 p.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate, west of Red Cloud Mine Road in an unincorporated area of Riverside County. 

A 2011 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by a 62-year-old man veered toward the dirt center median and overturned, coming to rest on its left side within the median.

CHP reported that the female passenger was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver, who was wearing his seatbelt, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash. The relationship between the driver and passenger was not specified, but both were residents of Greenfield, California.

The crash remains under investigation.
