[03-08-2026] Riverside County, CA – Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash With Vehicle Near Lake Elsinore

A motorcyclist was airlifted to a regional trauma center after a collision with a passenger vehicle near Lake Elsinore on Sunday afternoon, March 8, 2026.

The crash was reported at around 4:21 p.m. on a stretch of Ortega Highway west of the Candy Store, south of Lake Elsinore.

Authorities said a motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported from the scene by medical helicopter to a regional trauma center.

No other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
