[03-08-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed After Two-Vehicle Crash at Washington Blvd. and Flower St.

A woman was killed following a two-vehicle crash in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night, March 8, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident was reported at around 9:34 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Flower Street.

Investigators said a man was traveling southbound in the No. 1 lane of Flower Street when the woman’s vehicle allegedly ran a red light and collided with his vehicle.

Authorities reported that the impact caused the woman’s vehicle to roll over. Firefighters were seen performing CPR on the woman near the wreckage before she was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

It was not immediately clear whether the other driver was injured, though reports from the scene indicated he may have been transported by firefighters with moderate injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
