A motorcyclist was killed in a suspected DUI hit-and-run crash at Beach Boulevard and McFadden Avenue in Westminster early Saturday morning, March 8, 2025.
The Westminster Police Department received multiple calls regarding the crash at approximately 2:03 a.m. Responding officers found the male motorcyclist lying in the roadway with severe injuries. Despite life-saving efforts from the Orange County Fire Authority, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the involved vehicle, later identified as 24-year-old Abdallah E., fled on foot but was located nearby with the help of witnesses. Officers determined that the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
The suspect was arrested on multiple felony charges, including DUI causing injury or death, felony hit-and-run, vehicular manslaughter, and driving on a suspended license. He was transported to a hospital for his injuries before being booked into the Orange County Jail.
