A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Victorville on Saturday morning, March 7, 2026, has died from his injuries.
The incident occurred at around 12:26 a.m. at the intersection of Palmdale Road and U.S. Highway 395.
Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the scene and found an adult male who had been struck by a Toyota Prius.
The pedestrian, identified as 39-year-old Diego A. of Adelanto, was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. He died six days later, on March 13, 2026, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the Prius remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is leading the investigation.
