[03-04-2026] Alameda County, CA – Sedan Pinned Under Semi-Truck in Crash on I-580 Near Livermore.webpA crash involving a sedan and a semi-truck occurred on Interstate 580 near Livermore in Alameda County, early Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at about 12:35 a.m. on the eastbound I-580 near North Flynn Road. 

Authorities said a sedan was pinned underneath the trailer of a semi-truck during the crash.

Reports indicated that the heavily damaged sedan was lodged beneath the truck’s trailer. Despite the damage, the driver of the sedan walked away uninjured.

The driver reportedly told authorities they were on their way home from work and admitted to dozing off prior to the crash. It remains unknown whether the semi-truck driver sustained any injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
