A three-vehicle collision on Lilac Road near Anthony Road in San Diego County left one person injured and caused significant traffic delays on Sunday evening, March 1, 2026.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs, the crash was reported at around 6:15 p.m. near 29433 Lilac Road.
The collision completely blocked the roadway, forcing drivers to turn around to avoid the area.
Valley Center Fire Protection District personnel and CHP officers responded to the scene. Emergency responders transported one individual to Palomar Medical Center with injuries of unknown severity, pending further updates.
Three flatbed tow trucks were requested to remove the disabled vehicles, and traffic resumed around 7:53 p.m. after the roadway was cleared.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
