Four people, including two children, were injured after an RV crashed into a utility pole in Linda, Yuba County, on Saturday afternoon, March 1, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. near Hammonton Smartsville Road and Dantoni Road.
Authorities reported that the 45-year-old male driver was traveling at approximately 55 mph when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and crash.
The driver sustained major injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. A 45-year-old woman and her two sons, ages 4 and 9, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital in Marysville for treatment.
CHP has not yet confirmed the relationship between the driver and the passengers. Hammonton Smartsville Road was expected to remain closed for several hours as authorities investigated the crash.
